Well o well,6th year report- Pool time starting out was spot on,M,W,F 150 squats
became the norm. Totally unassisted transfer in and out. My total time standing in
front of my chair record is 7 and a 1/2 minutes. Still have only made 3 steps twice in
the 3-6 water/no walker. Controlled leg kicks in the dozens, four push ups in bed, able
to crawl on knees. Found out some interesting things on my medicine. My diet is
better than ever ,have a weight of 142. Ron taking care of Ron. My new head unit for
my van, blows away my ol Kenwood. Life is bitchen, excited about waking up every
day to see what new will happen. I go to go shopping,,,,,hearing a familiar clicking
sound, like when my wheelie bars hit the plate behind on my van chair lift. I bump my
control knob forward. My last thought going through my head was,, I was wondering
when I was going to do something stupid like this,as I was slammed face forward to
the ground by my wheelchair.I wiggled out from it somewhat and gathered my cell
phone and stuff. Yelled for a neighbor and one guy from across the street, came over
and helped me back up and in. Went and did my shopping, came home, was sore/beat
to hell and knew I had hurt myself real bad. My neighbor Kay was bitching at me to
go get it xrayed and I did and found it to be broken left hip. This is where I meet Dr.
Gellman, who is now the most knowledgeable surgeon on heterotopic ossification
removal in the world, as far as I'm concerned.

So between healing time from getting my left leg pinned for injury repair and in July
the hip heterotopic removal giving me way  more range of motion again. It,s been a
roller coaster ride of ups and downs. As I write this I just got home August 1st from a
massive, blood geyser gushing Saturday transfer into bed. Gellman opened it back up
on Monday and removed a clump of dried blood and honestly now it feels better than
ever. Feels like controlled movement is coming back,I'm impatient and want to see it
all come back in days instead of weeks, maybe months, maybe years. I'm ultra weak
from the radiation. Its made me a pissy bitch some times, ooh well. Learned to bring
in my own food to eat because the hospital food suxed so bad,I wouldn't feed the
seagulls in Walmart parking lot with it. Being a teaching hospital,I contributed my
share of teaching them about a patient who cares greatly for his health and
communication of all involved. You either laugh so hard your eyes are running from
the most pleasant patient experience,,, Or you see and experience pottie mouth
Ron,running your ass out of there.

Really was hoping for a kick ass report, instead of showing scars and x-rays as
trophies of accomplishment. I feel like I got a secret in my pocket for recovery by
knowing my diet and healing knowledge. I'm framing my discharge medication
handout. But like always everyone is different and effects/dosages vary.  As my
contribution to the injured people who have the misfortune of neurological heterotopic
ossification I give you
Dr. Gellman as your best choice for removal,treatment/protocol
and knowledge of recovery needed,as well as a set of skilled hands. It took me 5 yrs
of studying about it and he was the one I chose and there were many surgeons, highly
recommended that didn't get the prize, along the way.

Here we go with random thoughts and happenings- The most beautiful lady on
television news is Kimberly Maus, beating out Katie Couric from last year.- Backyard
babies beat out Me First and the gimme gimmees as most played van music.-
Portland has the best ambulance drivers/paramedics in the world.- 5/23 my cat,
Beeaatch had 2 kittens in bed cradled in my arms without waking me or making a
mess.- Alflutop is still a nectar of the gods. - I have "heard" that Trenbolone
enanathate and Boldolone Undecyclenate are the BEST and ONLY
medically
beneficial
anabolic steroids needed. Period, end of discussion, find your dose, get
doctors approval, live happily ever after.- Always keep a high protein and fiber diet
going, watch the sodium.- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, plain old room temperature water
works great, not cold.- The 6 yr video to show what I can do got cancelled due to
injuries.- Quad rugby is cool ,,,,,,,- Now some questions,, Will some one bet me I'm
doing at least 200 squats by this time next year? - Why do 98 percent of the
convenience store robberies I see on TV they grab cigarettes also? (Which addiction
caused the crime?)- If I can walk this year should I buy a 380exc or super duke 990
KTM? (The other night in my dream I was riding a yellow CBR 600 all over Portland
with a yellow Joe Rocket jacket doing stoppies???)- With all this positive energy that
surrounds us all, in a arms reach aura, how come folks keep their hands in their
pockets?

Six year report is over, every joyous accomplishment becomes a bench mark and a so
what? Goals are memories and I don,t see a stopping point honestly. I'm going to
walk again and look good doing it. Just living a healthy life style for the rest of my life
keeping myself in top physical condition and building the best warm water pool and
gym for the disabled. Live to inspire the folks who want to give up. Be admired,be
loyal to your beliefs.  Believe in yourself. Determination spawns inspiration giving you
results. Stay away from negative / toxic people.
